Why this workshop

Anxiety and stress have become part of everyday life for teens, social pressure, academic pressure, constant comparison and cyberbullying on social media, and the ordinary hard stuff life brings. Left unaddressed, it grows: mood swings, shutting down, snapping at the people they love, or feeling stuck in their own head.

This workshop gives teens real, practical tools — not just information — to work with their anxiety and stress instead of being run by it.

In this workshop you will learn how to:

  • Recognizing anxiety - noticing what it actually feels like in the body, before it takes over
  • Recognizing behavior patterns - how anger, fear, depression, and unhelpful habits show up
  • Knowing boundaries - how to read other people's boundaries, and confidently set your own
  • One go-to calming tool you can use anywhere - before a test, an argument, or a spiral of anxious thoughts

This session includes both teaching and guided practice, not just lecture. Live event, replay included.

What teens walk away with
Experience running this workshop live (including with the group at Los Positas College) has shown it builds self-esteem, confidence, and the skill to recognize and resolve anxiety and stress in the moment. Teens leave seeing new possibilities in themselves — not just a new fact about anxiety.

What to bring: a notebook and pen.

Live event, Saturday 15 August only. Replay included.

SOMEONE WHO HAS LIVED WITH ADDICTION, ANXIETY, RAGE, EMOTIONAL PAIN, AND GRIEF

Hi, I'm Eva.

I hold a safe space for teens to feel heard and seen, so they can work through big emotions and come alive, not just cope with them.

With 30+ years in this work (and my own lived experience with anxiety and big emotions), I teach from real understanding, not just theory.
